Classic Sites
…from the Classic package

Beautiful Heart Raw KitchenThis is Alison (Aradhana)’s raw food website which started out on the Quick package. I wanted to promote my raw food workshops and events, accept payments online and build a mailing list, so I needed the full functionality of the Classic site. Result: one fresh new site with a new theme plus plugins to manage the events calendar and sign-up box. [Theme: ColorWay] |

Aquarian Gathering 11-11-11Another example of the Twenty Eleven theme customised for a spiritual retreat for 11-11-11, for which I (Alison) am one of the organisers. Using the MailChimp subscribe widget to build a mailing list for when the site continues after the November 2011 event as an information point for the Aquarian Age. [Theme: Twenty Eleven] |

Qigong DarioDario teaches Hua Gong, a form of Qigong, and he was ready to broaden his publicity to the internet. The features he wanted on the site – an events calendar and a photo gallery slideshow – pointed to the Classic site. We customised the theme and tweaked the code a little to create the look Dario wanted. Thanks to WordPress coaching he continues to update the site as his ideas evolve. |

PMS WarriorBo, aka The PMS Warrior, wants to raise awareness of PMS and share the benefit of her own experience and research on this Blog site. She started off with our Quick package and chose the new ‘Twenty Eleven’ theme, but the need for the full functionality of a hosted site meant upgrading to a Classic site using a free WordPress theme. This solution means PMS Warrior can track visits to the site with Google Analytics and choose from 1000′s of plugins to create widgets to engage the visitor, including the Facebook ‘Like’ box, Twitter feed, and a blog subscription sign-up box. Bath Practitioner GroupThe Bath Practitioner Group is a network for health and well-being practitioners in and around Bath. It is the brainchild of yours truly (Leora) and practitioners are greatly valuing the group. The site is simple, clean and ‘healthy’ looking. This is a Quick website within the Custom framework. The advantage is added Search Engine Optimisation so the website can be more easily found. |

Hemisphere House LtdArabella was already using a WordPress blog site. She wanted to add more functionality to the site, specifically a sign-up box to create an email list. We migrated the site from WordPress.com (which forms the basis of our Quick package) to an externally hosted site using WordPress.org (this is our Classic package). Pages and blog posts were seamlessly transferred from the original site and the same ‘Twenty Ten’ theme was used, so that the site initially looked exactly the same – until we designed a custom header for the site. The site now runs on supersonic jet fuel rather than diesel! The site continues to evolve… [Theme: Twenty Ten] |

SenST SytemsSenST Systems is a new company providing professional healthcare for carers. They had a temporary website, however, they wanted to create something more sleek that they could present to potential business partners and clients. We recommended the ‘Twenty Ten’ theme to create the smart, clean and functional website they required. As they already had hosting set up, we created a Classic website, rather than be limited to the lesser functionality of the Quick site. This was definitely a quick project: the site was completed from start to finish in a week! [Theme: Twenty Ten] |
Clients manage their own sites
Once we have completed a site, we hand it over to our client, all shiny and new. The owner of the site is then responsible for maintaining the content of their site (so things change after we’ve completed our service!). We are on hand to provide an editing and updating service to help out if required.
