[1] Free WordPress theme for Quick There is currently a choice of 140 themes, with more being added all the time. These are available to everyone all over the world so the probability of your site looking like someone else’s is high, but your costs are greatly reduced. Some themes contain the option to customise the header and/or other details, but the choices are limited.
[2] Free WordPress theme for Classic There are now over 1,400 free WordPress themes available in this package. We will customise the theme in consultation with you. N.B. custom options vary in different themes.
[3] Widget Also known as modules or snippets, widgets are boxes of content that can be added in the sidebar. They can link to other pages in your site or blog, contain an archive list, link to other sites, display images, add search functionality etc. On the right side of this page, Search, Blog Posts, Latest Words and Sitemap are widgets.
[4] Footer This is the information that appears at the bottom of a site. If you choose the Quick Start Web Presence, the footer will state the theme name and link directly to WordPress. If you choose Custom Web Package you can have your own personal message and links to your site pages, as per the bottom of this site.
[5] WordPress is a widely used content management system (CMS). This online ‘programme’ is used to update your site.
[6] Web host current rate Currently FREE for 3 months then £2.49 + VAT per month, with a one-off £4.99 + VAT set up fee.
